Ruth has degrees in German and
Political Science from Wartburg College, Iowa and an MBA from Cass Business School, London.
After graduating, she worked as a legal assistant to a US Congressman in Washington DC.
In 1984 she joined Citicorp Venture Capital in London and in 1988 she joined Phildrew Ventures, which subsequently became UBS Capital and now, IRRfc. Ruth acted for many years as a private equity GP for the Phildrew Ventures’ funds and non-executive director of many portfolio companies.
She has recently applied this experience to a new business model for IRRfc, Business Coaching for Private Equity.
