Eike Marx - TLcom Capital

TLcom, a leading pan-European venture fund with a specialism in the TMT sector and one of Europe’s largest independent VC investors with in-excess of €200m under management, has hired Eike Marx as an Investment Director.  Eike will play an integral part in the fund and support the Investment Partners in all investment activities.  Prior to TLcom, Eike worked as a M&A professional for Perella Weinberg Partners after having worked in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division focussing on industrial companies.  He has had a number of internships including a stint at a US based venture fund.  Eike has a PhD in Physics (nanotechnology and optoelectronics) from the University of Cambridge (UK) and a Dipl.-Ing. (MSc equivalent) from the RWTH Aachen (Germany) in mechanical engineering. He has several publications in international scientific journals and has spoken at conferences in Europe and the US.
